How are the criteria of the objective met?
When installing solar panels, we also take into account the visual aspect: we aim to hide them from the view of cyclists and walkers as much as possible. The installation of the panels should have minimal impact on existing biodiversity, we try to compensate the negative impact elsewhere on the site, e.g. avoiding the creation of shade along the sunny bank of a pool. The area around our solar panels should be maintained with maximum respect for biodiversity, e.g. phased mowing (sinus mowing) instead of classical mowing
What are the benefits of the project ?
The good cooperation and dialogue with the technical people ensures that there is also more understanding among them about this new approach. We also note that greater awareness has emerged when talking about the importance of biodiversity.
